Cairo Time snags spot in Canada’s Top 10
Hot off their success at the Toronto International Film Festival and Canadian theatrical release, Cairo Time has been presented with another honour: being selected as one of Canada’s Top 10 films of the year, and showcased as such in an exclusive screening in the new year.
“Canada’s Top Ten is excited to showcase and celebrate the top feature and short films of 2009 reinforcing TIFF’s continued commitment to supporting Canadian filmmakers. We are pleased to present screenings of the films and a panel discussion from January 14 – 21, 2010 which will be held at TIFF Cinematheque. Running for 8 days only, this is the place to see the best Canadian feature and short films of 2009,” states the official website for Canada’s Top Ten.
Cairo Time writer and director Ruba Nadda and some key members of her crew will be participating in a Q&A session on January 19th at 7pm, held at TIFF Cinematheque, held at the Art Gallery of Ontario’s Jackman Hall.
